An afternoon in Paris
You know when you catch someone looking at you: they look away; you look away; you look back again and they look away again and blush? Well, it doesn’t happen very often, but when it does it always gives me butterflies in my stomach.
I was waiting for my train in Paris - I’d missed my connection. I’d have to wait almost 3 hours before I could continue my journey, so I’d set myself up in the restaurant-bar across the street from the station with a book. It was lunch time so I’d asked the waiter to bring me the ‘menu du jour’, and a small carafe of wine.
Crowned Queen and worshipped
Hubby and I had worked hard for a few months and needed to take a break. We sent the kids off to their grandparents and decided to let it all hang out in a nudist camp on the coast for a week.
When we got there it was a gorgeous place. The weather was sunny and the walks, pool and complex were secluded and friendly. It was warm enough to never have to put on any clothing, not even in the evenings. We had a great apartment with a balcony and large bedroom. We couldn’t have wished for more.
Totally unexpected
These things just happen sometimes. I’m never one to organise things, that’s more my husband’s thing, but if they happen… well so be it.
I was on my way to England to meet with some of my friends. On the way I had to stop off at a hotel for the night. Getting there late and checking in I called my husband to let him know I’d got there safely and then settled down for the night.
However, I couldn’t sleep so I decided to go down to the bar area for a drink and to see what, if anything, was going on down there.
